{"id":1180,"date":"2017-05-20T07:05:00","date_gmt":"2017-05-20T07:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dragonboat.sport\/?p=1180"},"modified":"2021-02-21T05:54:18","modified_gmt":"2021-02-21T05:54:18","slug":"dragon-boat-on-the-artery-of-budapest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dragonboat.sport\/news\/dragon-boat-on-the-artery-of-budapest\/","title":{"rendered":"Dragon Boat On The Artery of Budapest"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-8kns1\">The Hungarian Dragon Boat Federation organized a dragon boat competition on 6th of May 2017 as part of the 5th Danube Regatta of Budapest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-c100j\">19 universities sent crews to the exciting dragon boat race, on the fast-flowing Danube, in the heart of Budapest. The novice crews went through a few weeks training to be prepared for the great university festival and fight for the cup. The race, despite the high-water was safe and the smile and enthusiasm of the young paddlers remained even after the long race in difficult conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"viewer-esehd\">Spectators from the shore enjoyed 2 close heats and a spectacular grand final race.
