The event is scheduled to take place in Miluo City from 22nd to 28th October 2024, with racing taking place over 2 to 3 days between 25th to 27th October.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u201cThe 4th Edition of the IDBF World Cup in 2024 has great symbolic value as the IDBF and the CDBA bring dragon boating back to Miluo City, where Qu Yuan lived and died in 278 BC\u201d said IDBF President Claudio Schermi. \u201cThe aim of the new format for the World Cup is to guarantee representation across all five IDBF Continental Federations. I\u2019m confident that Africa will have a berth at the next World Cup in 2026.
