Habitat for Humanity of Dutchess County is partnering with 22 Dragons of Montreal to bring Dragon Boat Races to the Hudson River!
Families, friends, co-workers, group and club members become “dragon boat paddlers” and complete as teams against each other. They climb aboard 40 foot long wooden boats, and paddle as fast as they can down a 200 meters course. Teams are comprised of 16 paddlers, a drummer and two or three “alternates.” So assemble a team and join the fun! Individuals can register on their own and they will be placed on a team that needs paddlers.
